In winter the snow-covered nature around our apartments in Waidring fascinates with fairytale-like winter magic. The PillerseeTal valley is the snowiest region in Tyrol – a fact that is also well-known among the locals. But don't worry: our apartment house and holiday chalet in Waidring are located at a sunny place and allow us to enjoy many hours of sunshine also in winter.

Our apartments in Waidring are the perfect place for skiing holiday with the entire family. The next ski resort, the Steinplatte Waidring, is only a few minutes away and easily reachable by bus. The small, nice ski area thrills its visitors with a family-friendly character and spectacular mountain landscape. Moreover, the PillerseeTal region and the Kitzbühel Alps await you with other highlights such as the ski resorts Saalbach Hinterglemm Leogang Fieberbrunn and Kitzbühel. A  reasonably priced alternative for families is provided by the family ski areas Steinplatte or Almenwelt Lofer. 

Cross-country skiing & biathlon

Thanks to our location about 800 m above sea level, snow and perfect conditions for cross-country skiing are guaranteed throughout winter. The perfectly groomed tracks go through the entire PillerseeTal valley and also past our apartments in Waidring.  Also the eldorado of biathlon, Hochfilzen, is not far away.
